Of course, I remember making analogue slides with a Spiegelrefelx when I was travelling as a teenager.
However, my interest in this medium changed when I visited an exhibition in Munich by photographer Christopher Thomas entitled ‘New York sleeps’. Pictures of New York without people, photographed with filters.
The inspiration that came from these photographs led me to where I am today, with a few years of experience and the desire to contribute to the global cultural landscape.
The idea of taking pictures that the viewer cannot see with their own eyes inspires me. Fine art photography makes me want to take minimalist pictures, to reduce until the little that is necessary is still there.
I currently live between Cologne and Luxembourg and have specialised in fine art photography.
Most of my pictures are in black and white, occasionally, rather rarely, also in colour.

Natürlich erinnere ich mich gut daran, dass ich als Jugendlicher auf Reisen Dias mit einer Spiegelrefelx analog machte.
Mein Interesse an diesem Medium änderte sich jedoch, als ich in München eine Ausstellung des Fotografen Christopher Thomas besuchte mit dem Titel "New York sleeps" . Bilder von New York ohne Menschen, mit Filtern fotografiert.
Die Inspiration, die von diesen Fotografien ausging, führte mich dorthin, wo ich heute stehe, mit einigen Jahren Erfahrung und dem Wunsch, einen Beitrag zur globalen Kulturlandschaft zu leisten.
Die Idee, Bilder zu machen, die der Betrachter mit seinen Augen nicht sehen kann, begeistert mich. Fineartfotografie bringt mich dazu, minimalistisch Bilder zu machen, zu reduzieren, bis das wenige notwendige noch vorhanden ist.
Derzeit wohne ich zwischen Köln und Luxemburg und habe mich auf Fineartfotografie spezialisiert.
Die meisten meiner Bilder sind in schwarzweiss gehalten, ab und zu, eher selten, auch in Farbe.
